The First Post

Hello, the internet!

I thought it would be a good idea to start this blog out with a post about this blog. Wasn't that a fun sentence? :)

I created this blog to compliment my new YouTube channel: PinterestPerfect. I'm really excited about this channel, you guys! It's going to be so much fun!

What can you expect from this YouTube channel and blog? Tutorials and how-to's, mostly, based off of pins I've loved and learned from. But I'll be throwing in some "Real Talk" too, because I love to talk Real Talk (which, for those of you who don't know, means 100% honesty and candor).

Now, just so you know, I have another blog (which you can find here). It's a little more personal and less project-focused. It's mostly my musings and venting about life. Check it out, if you like!

I got the idea to do a YouTube channel quite some time ago, because people are always asking me, "How did you do your hair like that?" No, really. I get this question all the time. I don't mean to brag, but I have nice hair, and I really like to try out new hairstyles, and for the most part, they usually end up looking quite good. So when people ask me this question, I try to explain how it was done, but a show-and-tell is SO much better than just a tell, right? But I never went through with setting up a YouTube channel, because...life. I felt like I had too many things to do, too many obligations that already took up most of my time. But I'm at a point in my life now where I can manage to find the time for this. I also have a wonderful best friend who just launched her YouTube channel (which you should definitely check out here), and she is having so much fun doing it! She told me all about it, and that convinced me that I should give it a try. Her channel is so much fun, you guys! Really!

Hopefully my channel will be lots of fun too. If you have pins that you want me turn into a video, please send them along! I have a lot of ideas to share with you all, so stay tuned!
